Background to the Heart Campaign
NWTS hand out the hearts to the parents, guardians and siblings of the patients we transfer. One heart is given to the patient and the other heart/s are handed to the parents or guardians so even when they are apart they still feel connected. We have had such positive feedback from families to the hearts.
